Spaghetti Pie
6 oz Spaghetti
2T Butter
1/3C Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Eggs - well beaten
1C Ricotta Cheese
1 lb Ground Beef
1/2C Chopped Onion
1/4C Chopped Green Bell Pepper
1 8oz Can Tomatoes
1 6oz Can Tomato Paste
1t Sugar
1t Dried Oregano
1/2t Garlic Salt
1/2C Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or more if you like
Cook Spaghetti & Drain, stir in butter, parmesan chees and eggs. Form spaghetti into crust in a buttered 10” pie plate. Spread ricotta cheese over spaghetti crust.
In a skillet cook ground beef onion and green bell pepper, drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Heat thoroughly. Turn meat mixture on spaghetti / ricotta cheese. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes in a preheated 350-degree oven. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake another 5 minutes. ENJOY…..
